Mairena del Alcor - Alcalá de Guadaira
The stage between Mairena del Alcor and Alcalá de Guadaíra on the Ruta Vía de la Plata runs for approximately 18 kilometres with an elevation gain of 105 metres. It’s a low-difficulty route designed for gravel bikes, taking advantage of compacted dirt tracks and well-maintained rural roads, ideal for comfortable off-road riding.
From Mairena del Alcor the route passes through a mainly agricultural landscape dotted with olive groves and crop fields that offer typical views of the countryside of the province. The route, with some light slopes, is mostly smooth and does not pose any technical difficulties of note.
The stage ends in Alcalá de Guadaíra, a town with hundreds of years of history, imposing monuments such as the castle of Alcalá de Guadaíra and a spectacular natural setting along the river. A quiet day, but a very appealing one for gravel bike and Andalusian heritage enthusiasts.
Alcalá de Guadaira - Mairena del Alcor
This stage of the Ruta Vía de la Plata runs from Alcalá de Guadaíra to Mairena del Alcor over approximately 19 kilometres with an elevation gain of 182 metres. Designed for gravel bikes, the stage is classified as easy, although it does have a constant upward profile that adds a small physical challenge.
After leaving Alcalá de Guadaíra the route runs along rural roads and track sections in good condition that are ideal for gravel bikes. It goes through agricultural areas and natural habitats that run parallel to the River Guadaíra. The landscape, mainly open fields and gentle hills, becomes more undulating as you make your way to Mairena del Alcor, where the stage ends.
