This stage of the Ruta Vía de la Plata runs between the towns of Carmona and Mairena del Alcor in Seville province for approximately 18 kilometres, with an elevation gain of 68 metres.

It is designed for gravel bikes, taking advantage of good rural roads and well-maintained dirt tracks, making it a moderately challenging day.

The route begins in Carmona, a city with a considerable historical and monumental heritage located high up and offering panoramic views of the countryside. From here, the stage descends gradually along agricultural roads that wind through olive groves and farmland, crossing small local roads with a low level of traffic.

Arrival at Mairena del Alcor takes place after a slight climb in the last few kilometres. It is an ideal stage to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside without too much effort, although some sections require attention due to the type of surface and the possible presence of agricultural vehicles.

Mairena del Alcor - Carmona

This stage of the Ruta Vía de la Plata links Mairena del Alcor and Carmona over a distance of approximately 18 kilometres and an elevation gain of 154 metres. It is a gravel bike route, taking advantage of dirt tracks and good rural roads, with moderate difficulty due to the accumulated ascent.

The stage starts at Mairena del Alcor. From here, it runs through rural landscapes among olive groves, crop fields and gentle hills. Most of the route is along well-preserved roads, although at some points there may be loose gravel or an irregular surface.

The stage ends in Carmona, after a continuous climb that rewards your arrival in one of the most historically rich cities in Seville province. With its walls, the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro fortress and views over the River Vega, Carmona is a spectacular end to this transitional day between the flat and higher ground of the interior of Seville province.
