The short road bike stage runs from Aldeanueva del Camino to Hervás over approximately 7 kilometres with an elevation gain of 149 metres. It is classified as easy, making it a good option as a transition day or as the start of a longer stage.

The route runs along the old N-630, a minor road with low levels of vehicle traffic and a good surface, surrounded by mountain landscapes and Mediterranean vegetation.
