The route runs along the old N-630, a minor road with low levels of vehicle traffic and a good surface, surrounded by mountain landscapes and Mediterranean vegetation. Although the route includes a sustained ascent, the slope is gentle and constant so you can enjoy the surroundings and the views over the Ambroz Valley.
Hervás, the destination, is well-known for its Jewish quarter, traditional architecture and natural surroundings. Its cultural attractions and cuisine, together with its excellent location, make it a very interesting stopover on the Ruta Vía de la Plata.

The route runs along the old N-630, a quiet minor road in good condition surrounded by natural landscapes of the Ambroz Valley. The route profile is gentle – almost flat – so you can enjoy an easy ride while taking in the scenery that is typical of this part of northern Extremadura.
Aldeanueva del Camino, your destination, is a small village with traditions linked to the historic Ruta Vía de la Plata. This quiet place can either be the end of the stage or the starting point for continuing your journey southwards.
