An old Roman gold mine, it is impressive in its size and magnitude, being the largest one, after Las Médulas, in the whole province and, therefore, in Spain.

The visit starts at the Roman hill fort to continue the walk down a road that runs through a channel that provided water to the gold mine ending in the “murias” (mound of loose stones).
