Baños de Montemayor

Way of St James

Baños de Montemayor
Vía de la Plata

We start at the southern access to the town (pilgrim monument) and take Vía de la Plata Street as far as the Town Hall, where we turn left into D. Romualdo Street. We follow this street as far as the Vía de la Plata Roman road, which we go up for 1.5km to the N-630 road. During the climb we can admire the magnificent views over the Ambroz Valley and Baños de Montemayor Reservoir. The return is along the same route.

It is best done early in the morning to feel like a pilgrim for a moment.

Low difficulty.
