Most of the stage runs along minor roads with light traffic, good surfaces and smooth bends, allowing you to ride comfortably, but the route is demanding due to the total elevation gain. Along the way, some sections of dirt tracks and country roads alternate, adding variety to the terrain without posing major technical difficulties.

One point where you need to be careful is at a bend in the road as you arrive in Candelario, due to poor visibility. The arrival at this picturesque town, with its traditional architecture and beautiful scenery, makes the stage a complete experience for riders who enjoy gravel biking with a taste of the mountains.

Candelario - Puerto de Béjar

The gravel stage from Candelario to Puerto de Béjar runs for approximately 17 kilometres and features a total elevation gain of 312 metres, as part of the Ruta Vía de la Plata that crosses the Sierra de Béjar mountain range. The stage offers a short but very attractive day, ideal for cyclists seeking a mountain environment without sections that are too technically demanding.

The route is mostly along well-surfaced minor roads with light traffic that provide a very enjoyable ride. Along the way, some dirt track sections are ideally suited for gravel bikes, adding variety to the terrain. The profile is mostly downhill, with some undulations that add momentum and variety to the stage.

The landscape, featuring mountain vegetation and views over the nearby valleys, makes the stage an excellent option for cyclists who wish to enjoy a comfortable ride through spectacular scenery.
