The route mainly runs along the N-630, a wide road in good condition, with moderate vehicle traffic and a good hard shoulder for most of the way. After passing through Oliva de Plasencia, take extra care when joining the N-630 again, as the intersection is busy with vehicle traffic and can be tricky for cyclists. Along the way, you cross grasslands, wooded areas and small villages, with views of the nearby mountain range of the Ambroz Valley towards the end of the stage.
