The departure from Benavente avoids areas with the highest urban traffic along a low-traffic provincial road, which makes for joining the route safely. From there, the itinerary mainly follows the N-630 through agricultural landscapes and small villages, with a very gradual and easy ascent.

Santovenia is the endpoint of this day in the southbound direction.
