This road bike stage runs from Montemolín to Monesterio over around 13.5 kilometres with an elevation gain of 283 metres. Despite the short distance, it is not easy because the route profile is mostly uphill, requiring constant physical effort for a good part of the ride.

The route runs along roads in good condition, combining sections of main road with minor roads in a landscape featuring grasslands, agricultural land and hills that mark the rhythm of the rider’s ascent. The slope is steeper towards the end of the stage, making it a good challenge for road bike enthusiasts.
