Los Santos de Maimona has been and still is a land of artists. The Municipal Museum opened its doors in 2005 to offer a permanent display of local painting, sculpture and archaeology. Its nine rooms house works by different local artists, including the Tinoco brothers, Ramón Fernández Moreno and Manuel Santiago Morato, among others.
