As you approach Cáceres, built-up areas gradually increase until you reach the spectacular historical-artistic centre of the city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Entering Cáceres may require some care at crossroads, but you will soon be able to explore one of the most monumental cities on the Ruta Vía de Plata.
