Almendralejo - Mérida
This mountain bike stage runs from Almendralejo to Mérida for about 31 kilometres, with an elevation gain of 145 metres. It is a medium-difficulty ride, with a profile that alternates flat sections and gentle climbs, ideal for a day’s cycling without too much effort.
The route mainly runs along well-conditioned, low-traffic minor roads through agricultural landscapes characteristic of the Barros area. Gentle hills are the main feature along the way, allowing riders to make progress in an open and peaceful setting.
The entry to Mérida, a World Heritage City, adds great cultural and touristic appeal at the end of the stage. Its wealth of monuments and variety of services make the city an excellent place to combine sport, history and relaxation.

This mountain bike stage runs from Mérida to Almendralejo over about 31 kilometres, with an elevation gain of 210 metres. It is a medium-difficulty stage, with a sustained upward profile that requires consistent pedalling, especially in the central sections of the route.
It runs along well-maintained minor roads that cross the region’s agricultural landscape, where crop fields are the main feature. The open environment and gentle undulations of the terrain allow you to enjoy the journey without technical difficulties, although some physical effort needs to be maintained.
