The route mainly runs along compacted dirt tracks and forest trails in good condition, winding through the Sierra Norte Natural Park. It is an enjoyable stage from a landscape point of view, with stretches of grassland, Mediterranean forest and good views of hills and scarcely populated valleys.

You arrive at El Real de la Jara after a smooth ascent surrounded by oak and cork trees. The town impresses with its landscapes within the Sierra Morena Natural Park and thanks to its many attractions, including two castles.

The route takes you through well-preserved forest tracks and rural roads, across the gentle hills of Seville’s Sierra Norte. Along the way, areas of shade alternate with holm oaks and cork trees, with unobstructed views over open fields and grasslands, making the route a very enjoyable landscape experience.

The gradual ascent to Almadén de la Plata is not too demanding technically, so it is suitable for beginner or medium-level riders.
