These areas with undulations and open landscapes are typical of the region of Castilla y León. While there are some gentle climbs, the downhill profile and good condition of the surfaces allow for a constant and comfortable pace for most of the ride.

Montamarta, the destination, is a well-placed village on the route. It is known for its pleasant atmosphere and nearby natural areas such as the Esla reservoir.
