After leaving the behind, the route runs along compacted tracks and wide trails that are ideal for gravel bikes, heading towards Santiponce. When you arrive there, visit the archaeological site of Italusia, one of the most important Roman vestiges in Andalusia. It is a simple stage, ideal for enjoying the culture of the area as well.
Santiponce - Sevilla
This stage of the Ruta Vía de la Plata runs from Santiponce to Seville over 10 kilometres and an elevation gain of 49 metres. Designed for gravel bikes, it has a low level of difficulty.
After leaving Santiponce you follow compacted tracks and well-maintained dirt roads, ideal for gravel bikes. As you approach Seville, the route turns into an urban bike lane, allowing for a gradual and pleasant arrival in the city.
During this last stretch, it is essential to exercise caution in the cycle crossings provided, as many of them coincide with street crossings with traffic. Although they are designed to make cycling easier, they require special attention for your safety. It is a short, accessible stage with great historical heritage.
