Calzada de Valdunciel - Zamora
This road bike stage connects Calzada de Valdunciel with the city of Zamora over about 51 kilometres with an elevation gain of 200 metres, making it a moderately difficult stage, mainly due to the overall distance and its slightly uphill profile.
The route mostly follows the N-630 national road, combined with some low-traffic local roads. It crosses open landscapes, crop fields and gentle hills that are typical of the northern plateau of Castile. You leave Zamora along the N-630 road, passing through rural areas that combine stretches of national road with other minor roads with light traffic. The landscape, characteristic of the plateau of Castile, mainly consists of crop fields, gentle hills and clear views across the countryside.
