San Pedro de Rozados - Aldeatejada
This cycle route of approximately 22 kilometres runs from San Pedro de Rozados to Aldeatejada and offers a varied and accessible experience for intermediate-level riders. Most of the terrain is dirt tracks, although in good condition. The route has a moderate elevation profile; the first few kilometres feature a smooth descent, with slight altitude changes.
As the stage progresses, the rural landscape of the central Spanish plateau unfolds, with large fields and unobstructed views. The altitude gradually decreases as far as Aldeatejada.
The stage includes flat sections that allow you to maintain a good pace, with some short climbs adding a bit of variety without being too demanding. The final part, as you approach Aldeatejada, is mainly downhill, making the stretch quick and pleasant to finish the day’s ride.
Aldeatejada - San Pedro de Rozados
This 23-kilometre-long mountain bike stage runs from Aldeatejada to San Pedro de Rozados with an elevation gain of 323 metres. Of moderate-to-high difficulty, the stage features a continuous upward climb, making it ideal for fit riders who are used to mountain biking.
The route combines dirt tracks and country lanes with some minor road sections. The terrain is varied, with tarmacked sections and other more irregular ones, which adds a bit of spice to the stage. The climbs, although not highly technical, are constant and require a sustained effort, especially in the second half of the stage.
The destination, San Pedro de Rozados, in the area of the Sierra de Béjar mountain range, is a quiet and well-preserved village.
